Nova-Tech Engineering is seeking a Spanish bilingual Account / Customer Relationship Manager to add to their team!

CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

Nova-Tech Engineering, a worldwide leader in hatchery and agricultural automation solutions located on the MinnWest Technology Campus in Willmar, MN, has full-time employment opportunities available to join their Manufacturing Team in the role of CNC Machinist on the 2nd Shift.  Nova-Tech is a thriving organization with a unique culture and fantastic environment to work in. This shift runs from 1:30PM - 12:00AM, Monday - Thursday (no weekends).   This role is responsible for setup, prove out and running production parts in a repetitive batch environment on CNC lathes and multi axis mills such as Okuma, Fadal, Toyoda Bridgeport etc. Machinists are a key member of a team striving to continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Core Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
• Set up and run horizontal or vertical CNC machines and/or CNC Lathes
• Prepare jobs in the machine tools so that machine operators can run batches in an efficient manner
• Ability to determine best inspection process and uses measuring devices and blueprints to inspect parts for quality. Responsible for adherence to 1st Articles and Quality Inspection Plans.
• Ability to machine prototype parts with minimum supervision and without formal prints
• Ability to create and troubleshoot CNC programs on machine controls for prototype parts
• Verifies operations to be performed and material to be used on each job as directed by the production order or area Leader
• Ability to select and set up tooling for a new job and trouble shoot tooling issues on existing jobs

Competencies Required:

Inventory Clerk

Hourly Schedule: Full-Time Job Description & Apply Now

JOB OBJECTIVE STATEMENT

The primary objective of the Inventory Clerk is to provide materials to designated locations as scheduled and/or requested through the Inventory Supervisor. A second objective is to ensure NTE’s inventory is highly accurate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive shipments from suppliers. Unpack, ensure shipment matches purchase order and log into the NTE inventory computer system.
  • Places materials in appropriate locations (Stock Shelves, Lifts, etc)
  • Create kits for production orders
  • Replenish Kan-Ban Bins
  • Fills Parts Requests orders
  • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, and type, of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment: Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer.
  • Creates and posts movement and transfer journals (ex: for Kan Bans, Parts Requests)
  • Assist with periodic Inventory Cycle Counting (to ensure accuracy of the inventory)
  • Notify Inventory Supervisor of discovered inaccuracies
  • Follow all NTE policies, procedures and applicable laws
  • Work overtime as requested by supervisor
  • Recognize and comply with all safety rules. Hearing and Eye protection will be worn when required.
  • Promote continual improvement culture
  • Other duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES

  • Maintain a high level of physical energy during the work day as the tasks of moving materials from location to location demand this
  • A high level of skill for attention to details is a must since the production scheduling process is highly dependent on the accuracy of inventory.
  • Reading and logistical skills must be strong.
  • Will be required to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends during periodic inventory counting activities.
  • Proactive communication skills and follow through on assignments
  • Demonstrate basic PC skills (ex: e-mail, Inventory Management System)

Refurbishing Team Member

Nova-Tech Engineering has a full-time opportunity in their Refurbishing Department. This is a hands on role that works to refurbish/remanufacture a variety of mechanical components to complete the company's manufactured products through disassembling, cleaning & sanitizing. This process will also involve the utilization of hand and small power tools on a daily basis.  The ideal candidate will prefer 'hands-on' work that requires a great attention to detail!

Summary of Core Responsibilities:

  • Follow procedures through written or verbal instructions regarding remanufacturing duties to be performed
  • Rotate through a variety different tasks within the department
  • Disassemble, clean and sanitize parts assemblies for remanufacturing
  • Examine and determine if all parts are clean, and of sufficient quality for assembly and/or remanufacturing
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance

Primary Role Responsibilities:

Scrum Master Serves the Development Team by:

  • Coaching and protecting the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality

Scrum Master Serves the Product Owner by:

  • Coaching the Product Owner on how to drive product thru the product vision, roadmap and release plans, and backlog items
