Nova-Tech Engineering is seeking a French Bilingual Account / Customer Relationship Manager to add to their team!

This particular role will be responsible for the service, training, education, and installation of NTE's automated processing equipment, both domestically and internationally in locations where you will be interacting with French or Spanish speaking customers in Europe and the United States. Your role is critical as a key representative through continued sales, marketing and customer service.

Education and Experience Background We Seek:

  • Bilingual in French or Spanish and English, both verbal and written business communication proficiency is REQUIRED.
  • College level educational background related to Animal Science, Agriculture, Engineering, and/or Business.
  • An Associate's level degree is REQUIRED.  A Bachelor's level degree is PREFERRED.
  • A Mechanical/Technical aptitude is highly preferred.
  • Excellence in Communication, Account Management, and Presentation Skills.
  • The availability and flexibility to travel both domestically (in the U.S.A.) and internationally for periods up to two weeks at a time and 14 weeks per year.
  • Must have a valid US Drivers License with a good driving record and be authorized to work in the US.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years solid work history.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.

CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

This shift runs from 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday- Friday.   This role is responsible for setup, prove out and running production parts in a repetitive batch environment on CNC lathes and multi axis mills such as Okuma, Fadal, Toyoda Bridgeport etc. Machinists are a key member of a team striving to continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Core Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
• Set up and run horizontal or vertical CNC machines and/or CNC Lathes
• Prepare jobs in the machine tools so that machine operators can run batches in an efficient manner
• Ability to determine best inspection process and uses measuring devices and blueprints to inspect parts for quality. Responsible for adherence to 1st Articles and Quality Inspection Plans.
• Ability to machine prototype parts with minimum supervision and without formal prints
• Ability to create and troubleshoot CNC programs on machine controls for prototype parts
• Verifies operations to be performed and material to be used on each job as directed by the production order or area Leader
• Ability to select and set up tooling for a new job and trouble shoot tooling issues on existing jobs

Competencies Required:
• Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to set up and operate manual and CNC multi axis machine tools
• Ability to edit part programs
• Able to read, understand, and analyze Engineering drawings

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and maintains ERP production data
  • Creates and maintains production schedules for NTE Manufacturing and Prototype activities, while balancing demand of a rolling Sales and Marketing forecast
  • Determines daily production schedules based on production demand, engineering plans, plant capacity, availability of parts, and manpower requirements. Readjusts schedules according to production progress, change orders, or other delaying conditions. Coordinates with product owner to determine status of assigned projects.
  • Requires ability to understand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering team to plan and deliver prototypes and production parts. Documents overall material needs, including purchased and manufactured information necessary to process prototype and production orders.
  • Updates ERP system parameters for new items to ensure that procurement and planning requirements are accurately calculated
  • Monitors materials inventories and analyzes data to maintain on safety stock levels and buffers (store sizes)
  • Analyzes information and presents findings utilizing spreadsheets, charts, graphs and reports relating to inventory, fill rates and other critical manufacturing work flow business issues
  • Works with Business Systems Team and other groups to solve problems and implement opportunities to improve Microsoft Dynamics AX processes
  • Acts as liaison between Engineering, Sales and Marketing and Manufacturing team members
  • Assists Inventory team and accounting in resolution of inventory and purchase order discrepancies
  • Follows all NTE policies, procedures and applicable laws
  • Will work overtime as requested by supervisor

  • Maintain expertise in MRP systems knowledge and recommend new procedures to enhance the performance of the planning and scheduling system experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX - preferred
  • Knowledge of purchasing, master planning, inventory management, and transactional entries preferred
  • Strong knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, or equivalent software utilized for workflow management outside of Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation

Nova-Tech Engineering has TWO full-time opportunity in their Shipping & Receiving Department.  

Nova-Tech Engineering was founded in 1992 and began as one person's passion to benefit the agricultural industry.  Through innovative process automation technology, the company engineers and manufactures products that serve over 500 commercial poultry hatcheries in 56 countries worldwide.  Headquartered in Willmar, MN, on the beautiful MinnWest Technology Campus, Nova-Tech Engineering employs over 190 people, in a variety of roles and expertise.

This role is responsible for the daily activities involved in order processing and the fulfillment of a variety of mechanical parts.  Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a shipping or parts department and has strengths related to organization, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and customer service.  A positive personality is also a must!

Summary of Core Responsibilities:

  •          Parts order processing and order fulfillment domestically and internationally
  •          Inventory control
  •      Working with third party shipping vendors such as:  UPS, FedEx, LTL
  •         Communicating with and serving the needs of internal customers 
  •          Assemble and prepare packages for shipment
  •          Process and authorize returns and small parcels
  •          Enter customer and shipping data into software applications; general records keeping

 Core Competencies Required:

  •          Confidence using Microsoft Office Software such as:  Outlook, Word, and Excel
  •          Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail
  •          Previous experience with inventory and/or parts management
  •      Previous international shipping experience highly desired
  •          Ability to solve practical problems
  •          Excellent verbal communication skills in written and verbal English
  •      A mechanical aptitude is highly desired

Working Conditions:

  •          While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, use hands to assemble and package parts and enter information into a software database
  •          The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  •          The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Schedule:

  •  The core operating hours range anywhere from 7:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday.  This position is a full-time opportunity scheduled 40 hours per week.

Technical Services- Level II Team Member

Salaried Schedule: Full-Time Job Description & Apply Now

We are currently seeking applications for a full-time opportunity on our Customer Service Team in the role of Level II Technical Services Team Member.

This role will be responsible for a variety of customer and departmental technical support services such as engaging the clients with advanced troubleshooting, as well as assisting with the introduction of new product and services to the field.  This role requires an individual willing to seek out and create improvements on NTE’s various product lines, our processes, as well as our support tools. This individual must work well as a SCRUM team member, but also autonomously as travel is required (both domestic and international, up to 30%-40% of time). Your role is critical as a key representative through customer technical support and feeding valuable information to the engineering team.

Customer Support

  • Provide troubleshooting advice for our existing and new products for both domestic and international customers.
  • Support Account Managers with technical solutions, industry knowledge, schematics, and beak treat analysis.
  • Create documents such as parts catalogues, technical manuals, or troubleshooting procedures.
  • Train internal and external clients on technical aspects of NTE products such as proper use and troubleshooting.
  • Manage Technical Services email account.

New Product Development

  • Install and support pre-production engineering equipment.
  • Liaison with customers to establish test protocols to prove out our new product efficacy.
  • Submit timely and valuable feedback to engineering to further product development.

Data Analysis and Management

  • Utilize Customer Relation Management (CRM) Software to record customer events, interactions, and to manage customer information.
  • Determine, prioritize, and coordinate projects to improve data utilization and analysis (e.g., H.D.A. Alarm System).
  • Gather customers' machine data, generate useful reports, and effectively communicate the information to customers.

Education and Experience Background We Seek:

  • Professional verbal and written business communication proficiency is REQUIRED.
  • College level educational background related to Animal Science, Agriculture, Engineering, and/or Business.
  • An Associate's level degree is REQUIRED.  A Bachelor's level degree is PREFERRED.
  • A Mechanical/Technical aptitude is required.
  • Excellence in Communication, Account Management, and Presentation Skills.
  • The availability and flexibility to travel both domestically (in the U.S.A.) and internationally for periods up to two weeks at a time and 30%-40% of the year.
  • Must have a valid US Drivers License with a good driving record and be authorized to work in the US.
